ABOUT US

Jack Pine is a North Americana Music Festival that includes the musical roots indigenous to Canada, United States, and Mexico.

The Americana Music Association defines the genre best: Americana is contemporary music that incorporates elements of various American roots music styles, including country, roots-rock, folk, bluegrass, R&B and blues, resulting in a distinctive roots-oriented sound that lives in a world apart from the pure forms of the genres upon which it may draw. While acoustic instruments are often present and vital, Americana also often uses a full electric band.

We invite festival goers to come and experience this incredible genre of music in the intimate outdoor setting at the Ness Creek site.  This festival not only includes evening performances on the mainstage but also hosts programming throughout the day.  Get your teams ready as Voyageur Days is recreated on site and is a series of races designed to get you laughing and moving in the traditional Metis Spirit.

Not ready to call it a night once mainstage acts have finished?  Not to worry as you can head over to the beautiful Jack Millikin Centre located in the heart of the downtown area.  For an extra add-on you can come and dance the night away indoors to a new band each night.

VIP packages are available if camping isn’t your strongest suit, but no matter what suit you wear you are sure to have one heck of a good time!

With regards to Covid-19, festival organizers will be following all regulations from the Saskatchewan Health Authority. We continue to monitor the situation closely and onsite rules and regulations are subject to change.

The event is a joint collaboration presented by the Big River Metis Local #59, Ness Core Ventures, Ness Creek Cultural and Recreational Society, and Peever Productions, Inc.
